ART THERAPY

Picture
Group Art Therapy is an excellent modality in which to engage children, teens and adults.  Positive outcomes for a wide variety of populations and presenting concerns are achieved through therapeutic  expression.   The following are just a few of the goals that can be attained through group work in art therapy:

  • Reinforcing recovery and building community with individuals experiencing mental health issues
  • Practicing conflict resolution and communication skills for teens
  • Healthy relationship, conflict resolution and assertiveness training for teens and parents
  • Building trust, coping with loss and transition for individuals in bereavement
Dates TBD by participating organizations.

To schedule group sessions or for more information, please visit our Registration page or call Renee Bures at 215-262-4443.

WOMEN'S GRACE

“It’s the human experience to have loss, loss of all different forms,” Susie Faden reminds us.  She combines many years of hospice care and grief/loss group facilitation with a genuinely warm presence.  She draws you in to a refreshing space of compassion in such a way that you feel like it’s her privilege to honor your unique experience.  “How is it that we have the capacity to feel grace for another when they suffer, but are unable to do the same for ourselves?” she asks, and invites you to “explore together how to live more fully while living with grief.”

Four Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. beginning October 6, 2010

To reserve your space or for more information, please visit our Registration page or call Renee Bures at 215-262-4443.
