"Create-a-thon is a fun, exciting day of arts and service."
Our annual Create-a-thon is an opportunity to make art while making a difference. All you do is secure sponsors, then make art or music... write, sing, dance and drum (or play other instruments) for 8 hours. What a unique way to meet other artists, learn music and writing techniques and create lots of artwork. All proceeds benefit our Special Needs Scholarship Fund, supporting therapeutic arts programs for children, teens and adults with developmental, psychological or physical challenges.
Activities include tile mosaics, abstract paintings, unique clothing, dream catchers, jewelry, poetry, rhymes and more! Professional artists show you how. Drum, sing, dance and rap if you want. You select the activities you like best. Also enjoy a fabulous lunch and snacks. No skills are necessary, only a desire to be expressive all day and help a worthy cause. Just like a walk-a-thon, you seek pledges from sponsors for each hour 9am-5pm. Keep all the art you make and pay only a $10 registration fee!
